A Day in the Life of an Online Student Typical Student
  • Wake up when you are ready
  • Turn on the computer (Make a note to leave the computer turned on to reduce your workload for this course.)
  • Let the dog or cat out (maybe)
  • Log onto your online service provider
  • Go to kitchen and get a cup of coffee or juice (maybe)
  • Read your E-mail messages
  • Let the dog or cat back in (maybe)
  • Reply to some of your E-mail messages
  • Have breakfast (maybe)
  • Complete some online assignments
  • Take a shower and get dressed (but only if your have visitors coming)
  • Surf the net for resources relative to your assignments
  • Make your bed (maybe since it will just get messed up again tonight)
  • Submit online assignments and send messages to classmates
  • Turn off computer (but only if you are a work-aholic) and join the outside world (maybe!)

Hopefully, you are not all that addicted to the technology or learning chemistry but this seems like my life some days. It probably would be helpful, however, to give you an overview of what you might expect to be doing each week in this course. So go to the next page.
